Club Penguin-How to Handle a Bullying Situation

Hello Penguins!

Penguin 43 Here!

Recently, because this month is National Bullying Prevention Month, Megg posted some tips on how to handle a bullying situation on the Club Penguin Blog. I liked them so much and I thought they were very good tips so I have decided to share them with you.

Here they are:

SPOT: Bullying can be physical, such as pushing, hitting, or taking and breaking someone else’s things. It can also be verbal or online, such as name calling, sending mean messages, or making fun of another person. All these are meant to hurt another person and are not okay.

BE HEARD: There are lots of things you can do if you see bullying. Here are a few ways to help:

  • Ask the person bullying to stop. They might not realize that they are hurting the other person.
  • Don’t join in. Someone who bullies often likes the attention and if you don’t acknowledge it then it takes some of the fun out it.
  • Reach out. Let the person who was bullied know that you care about them by offering a kind word of support.
  • Tell an adult. If you are unable to stop the bullying yourself then tell an adult. Adults can help you enforce the rules and make sure something is done.

If you have any tip to add the list above then comment below.
