Club Penguin: Polo Field has Returned to Twitter

Hello Penguins!

You may remember that on 6th October 2014, Polo Field stopped using his Twitter account and made it “Protected”. Click HERE to view my post on Club Penguin Reveals from 6th October 2014 about it.

Because Polo Field’s Twitter account was protected, it meant that only confirmed followers could view Polo Field’s full Twitter account. So when you clicked “Follow” you were not actually following Polo Field. Polo Field had to accept the follow request in order for you to follow him and therefore become a confirmed follower. Also because Polo Field’s Twitter account was “Protected”, none of his tweets could be retweeted. However, if you had retweeted one of Polo Field’s tweets on a Twitter account before he protected his account, it still appears on the account that you retweeted it on.

On 2nd December, Polo Field retweeted a tweet from Club Penguin’s Twitter account. Here was the tweet that he retweeted:

And then on 4th December 2014, Polo Field tweeted this on his Twitter account:

Between then and today, Polo Field tweeted on his Twitter account every so often. He also accepted Follow Requests so that penguins who had requested to follow him, were following him and they became confirmed followers. Therefore could view Polo Field’s full Twitter account.

Earlier today, Polo Field changed his Twitter Bio and “Unprotected” his Twitter account. He did not tweet about it though. So now, anyone can follow Polo Field on Twitter. It also means that Polo Field’s tweets can be retweeted. Lastly, it means that everyone can view Polo Field’s full twitter account.

Here’s an screenshot of Polo Field’s Twitter account (I do follow Polo Field, the screenshot below was taken when I was not logged into Twitter):

Anyway, on another note. Polo Field was not the only member of the Club Penguin Team to stop using their Twitter account and make it “Protected”. Megg did this with her Twitter account, “@clubmegg” (Click HERE to view Megg’s Protected Twitter account). Daffodaily5 did this with her Twitter account, “@Daffodaily5“(Click HERE to view Daffodaily5’s Protected Twitter account). And Ninja did this with his Twitter account, “@ninjachat3” (However on 3rd February 2015, Ninja later deleted his Twitter account, click HERE to view my post on Club Penguin Reveals from 3rd February 2015 about it).

Since Polo Field has returned to Twitter, I wonder if Megg and Daffodaily5 will. Ninja could but he’d need to start a new Twitter account. Do you think that Megg, Daffodaily5 and Ninja will return to Twitter? Be sure to let us know in the comments below.

Until Next Time…

  1. Hey Greengirl816!
You’re right. I just checked out Megg’s Twitter profile and it is public again. It was still “Protected” when I posted the post about Polo Field’s Twitter profile. Thanks for telling me. I’ll post about it soon. Hopefully, Megg will update her Twitter account soon. And here’s a question for you, do you think that Polo Field, Megg, Daffodaily5 and Ninja (Of course, Ninja will have to create a new Twitter account if he starts using Twitter again because he deleted his old Twitter account permanently) will start using their Twitter accounts again?
    Waddle On! 🙂
